One More Crane Contract for TTS Group

Through a new contract for heavy lift crane, TTS Group ASA has strengthened its position as a key supplier for the important Chinese market.

The contract, won by TTS NMF GmbH in Hamburg, Germany includes three heavy lift cranes, with a total value of NOK 27 million.

The cranes will be used on a Cargo Training Vessel (MPCV) owned by Dalian Maritime University in China, one of the largest and best maritime universities and the only key maritime institution under the Ministry of Transport in China.

The contract package consists of two 240 tonne and one 50 tonne heavy lift cranes. The cranes are of a type where TTS NMF is highly experienced.

The contract is with COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd in China. The deliveries will take place within 2014.
