Overhauled Gas Aries Departs Chengxi

On August 29, the LPG vessel “ Gas Aries” departed from Chengxi Shipyard, indicating its repair project was successfully completed.

The LPG tanker, built in 1991, measures 230 m in length and 36 m breadth. With a gross tonnage of 44,493 tons and a deadweight of 50,357, the vessel’s maximum recorded speed is 17.5 knots, whereas its average speed amounts to 12.9 knots.

It is Chengxi’s remarkable performance in the repair project of “Gas Aries” that secured the opportunity for the repair of Linden Pride, the second LPG vessel from NYK Ship Management Pte. Ltd., thus paving the way for Chengxi to continue cooperation with the Owner.

LPG Vessel “Linden Pride” arrived at the shipyard on Wednesday, August 28.
