Peru LNG Cargo Heads to Spain

Peru’s only LNG export facility shipped an LNG cargo to Spain on May 28.

The cargo is being hauled by the Sevilla Knutsen, a 173.400 cubic-meter tanker, and is expected to arrive at the Bilbao LNG import terminal on June 18.

The liquefaction plant in Pampa Melchorita has exported 211 cargoes since its startup in June of 2010, according to PERUPETRO S.A.
