Havila Favour will end the existing contract within the end of November and is expected to start working on the optional period in direct continuation of the existing one.

To remind, Petrobras hired Havila Favour in 2010 for four years.

The optional contract will keep the vessel working for Petrobras until December 2018.

The company did not disclose the value of the contract, but noted that the terms are equal to the existing one.

Havila Favour is a large PSV of VS 483 design with a deck area of 902 m2. It was delivered in March 1999.

Havila Shipping is a supplier of supply services to the international offshore industry. The company operates 27 vessels within subsea construction, anchor handling, platform supply and multi-field rescue recovery services.
