Picture of the day: Gorgon LNG jetty nearing completion

The 1.3-mile (2.1-km) LNG jetty, a part of the giant Chevron-operated Gorgon LNG project in Australia, is nearing completion.

The two LNG loading platforms have been installed at the jetty head. A facilities equipment room, substation and workshop have been installed on the Marine Operations Platform.

All 29 navigation aids are in place around the jetty and Materials Offloading Facility.
