Polarcus wins 3D seismic work in Australia

Marine geophysical firm Polarcus has entered into a contract for the acquisition of a broadband 3D marine seismic project in Australia.

Polarcus said on Thursday that the project was due to begin in the first quarter of 2018 and would run for approximately one month.

The new contract follows the two contracts the company announced at the end of October.

Namely, Polarcus in October said it had received two deals for seismic work from unnamed clients. More precisely, Polarcus received a pre-fund multi-client XArray 3D seismic acquisition project in the Middle East and a broadband 3D marine seismic project in South America.
