Power Catamarans Designs New 20m Wind arm Crew Boat (UK)

After extensive trials with the smaller Powerglide 46 Wind Farm Crew Boat ‘Vanishing Point’ Power Catamarans have finalised the design of 20m (66ft) Wind farm crew boat that will revolutionise the crew boat industry and save millions of litres of fuel.

The Blade will work easily in seas of well over 3.0m without additional modifications to the bow or the tower.

Another big bonus will be that they can mould these 20m hulls in Cornwall and have them delivered by road to any place in Europe to be reassembled ready to finish by a customers own boat builder.

The mould is configured to build the hulls in a variety of lengths as well as a good choice of beam widths. Assembly to deck level will be a very economical build and the possibility is there to drop a pre-fabricated aluminium wheelhouse onto the deck.

At this same time Power Catamarans is actively looking to gain funding for this new project possibly from an incoming partner/investor etc
