Norwegian shipping company Rem Offshore has sold one construction support vessel (CSV) and postponed the delivery of an offshore construction vessel (OCV).

Rem Offshore said on Monday it has entered into an agreement to sell the CSV vessel ‘Rem Forza’ to an international customer it did not name.

According to the company, the 2008-built vessel would be delivered to the new owner shortly. The 107-meter Rem Forza has a 10 ton AHC crane and a total capacity of 120 persons.

The sale will give a booked profit, and a net cash of approx. NOK 200 million ($22.7 m) after repayment of debt, the shipping company said.

Rem Offshore also said on Monday it had reached an agreement with the shipbuilding company Vard Group to postpone the delivery of an offshore construction vessel until 1Q 2018.

The NOK 800 million ($91 million) contract for the Vard 2 06, ice-ready, OCV vessel was signed in June 2014 while delivery was originally scheduled for 1Q 2016.
