SeaBird’s ‘Hawk Explorer’ gets LoI for 2D seismic shoot

SeaBird Exploration’s vessel ‘Hawk Explorer’ has received a letter of intent for a 2D seismic survey in Asia Pacific region.

The survey will cover approximately 15,000 km and will have an estimated value of USD 12 million. The project is expected to start in mid-December and will have an estimated duration of 120 days.

M/V Hawk Explorer joined SeaBird in 2006 after being converted to 2D-Source vessel in Gdynia Poland. The vessel is designed for worldwide 2D and Source operation.

SeaBird is a global provider of marine acquisition for 2D/3D and 4D seismic data, and associated products and services to the oil and gas industry. SeaBird specializes in high quality operations within the high end of the source vessel and 2D market, as well as in the shallow/deep water 2D/3D and 4D market.

The company’s main focus is proprietary seismic surveys.
