SeaBird’s Aquila Explorer hired for 2D survey

SeaBird Exploration Plc has announced that Aquila Explorer has been awarded a contract for a 2D survey in the Australasia region.

The duration of the contract is approximately 50 days and with a value of approximately USD 5.5 million.

SeaBird is a global provider of marine acquisition for 2D/3D and 4D seismic data, and associated products and services to the oil and gas industry.

M/V Aquila Explorer was converted to 2D Source vessel in Singapore in 2007. The vessel is designed for worldwide operation.
