Solstad Farstad Secures Work for Normand Flower with Fugro

Solstad Farstad (SOFF) has entered into a contract with Fugro Netherlands Marine for the construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Flower, for operations in North European waters.

The contract has a firm duration of six months and it is planned to start at the end of March this year, the company informed.

We experience an increasing demand for CSV tonnage in the North Sea and we are very pleased to be awarded our second vessel contract with Fugro,” said Hans Knut Skår, EVP – Subsea Constructions & Renewable Energy of Solstad Farstad.

The Normand Flower, with an overall length of 93 meters, is equipped with a 150-ton active heave compensated crane, a helideck and a working moonpool.

The vessel can accommodate 85 people onboard.
