Solstad sells platform supply vessel

Norwegian offshore service and supply shipping company Solstad Offshore has sold one of its platform suppliers. 

According to its Oslo Stock Exchange filing on Thursday, Solstad sold the 1996-built PSV Normand Carrier.

Delivery to its new owner took place on Thursday, June 1, 2017. Solstad revealed no financial details of the sale but only said that the sale will not have any impact of significance on accounting or the cash position of the owner company.

The vessel is of a UT 745 design with a deadweight of 4560 t. It is 84.4 meters long and it can accommodate 37 people.
