Subsea 7 extends ‘Havila Subsea’ charter

Subsea 7 S.A. has exercised its contractual option to extend its existing charter for the Havila Subsea vessel.

The charter is now extended for a further one year period to end of 31 December 2015.

The contract has another one year option until 31 December 2016.

Havila, the owner of the vessel, did not reveal the financial details but only said that the “dayrate for the optional period is equal with existing rate.”

The Havila Subsea is an advanced IMR, Survey and Light Construction vessel, specially designed to operate in all weather conditions and is also designed to operate in light ice conditions with the class notation Ice C for the hull and the notation DEICE to avoid icing of the vessel.
