SubseaPartner Gets New Boss

Norwegian diving specialist SubseaPartner has expanded its team with the appointment of Tore Hafte Staalesen as the company’s new managing director.

Staalesen began his role on July 17. He joins from DOF Subsea after serving as business acquisition/project manager. He also previously worked as project operations manager at Subsea 7 (2014-2015).

SubseaPartner AS was established in 2013 by personnel previously employed by Fugro RUE AS in Haugesund.

The company has also this year entered into a contract with DeepOcean to perform all manned diving operations on the Norwegian Continantal Shelf.

These operations will be performed from the newly arrived light diving craft (LDC). The LDC is the latest in a string of investments made by SubseaPartner since the investment company Cinclus took a stake in the company last fall.
