According to Siem Offshore, a 12-month option has been exercised for PSVs Siem Atlas and Siem Giant for continued operations offshore Brazil. This enables both vessels to stay with TotalEnergies until June 2024.

The original two-year contract for these two vessels was secured in September 2020. As explained at the time, the deal also entailed two yearly options. The previous one-year option was exercised in July 2022.

The PSVs Siem Atlas and Siem Giant, which were built in 2013 and 2014, respectively, are of an STX PSV 4700 design.

Over the past few months, Siem Offshore has been winning new deals for its vessels and extending existing ones. The most recent medium-term deal in the North Sea was secured in early June 2023.
