Kherson Shipyard to Hire More Workers in 2012

Kherson Shipyard today is the sole shipbuilding company in Ukraine building key-turn tankers and dry-cargo vessels. The profit of KSY in 2011 made 15 mln UAH. Kherson Shipyard list of orders is formed till the end of 2013.

At present moment 3 key-turn tankers of RST27 project for SVL Company (Malta) and 6 offshore constructions for Italian Company SAIPEM are under construction.

The scope of commercial production in January 2012 is 20 mln UAH.

The Shipyard engages production workers. The announced program for hiring of personnel provides the increase in the number of production personnel in 2012 by 800 people.

Kherson Shipyard was created as far back as in 1951 as a key shipyard of commercial shipbuilding in ex USSR and at present it is rightly considered one of leading shipbuilding and ship repairing yards in Ukraine. For its half a century history the Shipyard was attributed a reputation of a dependable partner.Over 300 vessels have been built for 26 counties of the world. It attracts the shipowners’ attention of leading world powers due to diversity of ships constructed: tankers, dry-cargo vessels, ice-breakers, multi-purpose ships, container-carriers, Arctic Supply vessels, drilling vessels etc.
