USA: BlueView Pens Integration Agreement with Outland Technology

BlueView Technologies, the world leader in compact acoustic imaging and measurement technology, and Outland Technology, Inc., a ROV manufacturer in Slidell, Louisana with a combined 60+ years in Electronics and Undersea work signed a Systems Integrator Agreement that enables Outland to re-sell BlueView 2D and 3D products on Outland Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).

Outland has a long history of designing and manufacturing a broad range of high quality underwater video and audio products using high volume components adapted for specific applications. BlueView’s compact, real-time multibeam imaging sonar systems will expand Outland’s ROV capabilities by enhancing low and zero visibility operations.

“More and more customers are inquiring about BlueView 2D Multibeam Imaging Sonar, especially those that work the inshore areas where low and zero visibility conditions are common and the risk of encountering obstacles is high. BlueView makes working in those environments easier,” said George (Buddy) Mayfield, Co-Owner Outland Technology, Inc.

“Working with Outland enables BlueView’s high-resolution acoustic systems to work in collaboration with the latest high-resolution video systems to make ROV operations easier and safer for customers,” said Beto Campos, BlueView Director of Global Commercial Sales & Business Development.

BlueView is the leader in 2D imaging and 3D scanning sonar technology with more than 500 installed systems worldwide. BlueView Technologies’ advanced sonar systems are currently deployed on AUVs, ROVs, surface vessels, fixed positions, and portable tripods, and have been adopted by leading manufacturers and service providers to support mission critical operations. BlueView customers enjoy a low cost of ownership with reliable operation, exceptional service, in-person training, extensive online information, and worldwide after-sale support.
