Wisdom Marine Sells Four to Scorpio

Wisdom Marine Group, one of the largest bulk ship owners in Taiwan, has sold four new panamax bulk carriers to Scorpio Bulkers for a total price of $134 million.

Under the deal, Scorpio is taking two 84,000 dwt and two 81,600 dwt bulkers that are under construction at Imabari Shipbuilding of Japan, reports Wisdom.

According to Sinoshipnews, Wisdom has returned to the same yard and ordered one 81,600 dwt and two 35,300 dwt bulkers, making an estimated profit of $8.73 million.

Wisdom did not disclose the projected delivery dates for these vessels.
