AGR Wins Services Contract from NPD (Norway)

Global oil and gas service provider AGR has won a major contract to deliver a two-year frame agreement for the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD).

Under the agreement, AGR’s Norway-based Reservoir Management Team will deliver services within geology and reservoir engineering, including reservoir modelling, petrophysics, reservoir simulation and increased oil recovery.

Following a tendering process NPD selected AGR from a shortlist of three companies to deliver the contract, which has a one plus one year extension option.

Morten Heir, AGR’s VP of Reservoir Management, said “We are very pleased to have been selected to deliver this important frame agreement and to continue our excellent working relationship with the NPD.

“The award of this contract again demonstrates the confidence the Directorate has in AGR’s reservoir engineering and geology expertise and the experience and professionalism of our team.”

AGR’s Reservoir Management Team comprises more than 100 highly skilled and experienced professionals working worldwide. The Norwegian team has over 30 members, with an average industry experience of 15-20 years.

Last year the Team secured a contract with Gassnova to develop the Norwegian state-owned company’s carbon capture strategy.
