BGP, TGS Sign Seismic Data Acquisition Contract for East Africa

BGP has signed a three year Cooperative Agreement with TGS to acquire, process and market multi-client 2D and 3D seismic data in East Africa.

The agreement includes the 2D 13,135 km seismic survey in west Morondava, offshore Madagascar, which was acquired by BGP from January to May.

BGP and TGS will extend their long term relationship by this cooperation. Two sides are expecting to build a strong portfolio of multi-client projects in East Africa by taking advantage of their respective strengths.
