CIC Changxing Concludes Routine Dry-Docking of MV LR2 Pioneer

The repair job of MV LR2 Pioneer was accomplished recently and she departed CIC Changxing Shipyard. The vessel is a product tanker, with LOA 234 m. and moulded breadth of 42 m.

Her main work scope entailed routine dry-docking items, hull treatment and machinery refit. The subject vessel is managed by a Singaporean ship management company.

Though the work scope of the vessel was not too big, the repair team tried their best to ensure good quality during the repair progress, hence the yard completed all the docking activities along with the painting job a in short period.

The owner will award another two vessels for repair projects to CIC-Shipyards this year.

“China Shipping Industry (Shanghai Pudong) Co., Ltd. will try its best to follow up the case and keep a long-run relationship with the ship owner ,” the company said in a release.

Three vessels have been repaired at CIC Changxing Shipyard this year.
