Conoco to Ship LNG Cargo from Kenai This Month

ConocoPhillips said that it plans to send the first shipment of LNG from its Kenai export terminal in Alaska this month after it has renewed its export licence in April.

The company has contracts for six LNG cargoes this year, Reuters informs.

The Kenai terminal is the first exporter of LNG from the United States. During its long career it has shipped LNG primarily to Japan, more than 1,300 loads for the past four-plus decades.
