Drydocks to highlight employment potential at Careers UAE

Drydocks World & Maritime World, the leading global provider of innovative services to the marine and maritime sectors under oil & gas and energy industries, today announced its participation in Careers UAE, to highlight the tremendous employment potential, the major career opportunities and its established reputation as a preferred employer for local nationals.

The exhibition is being organised under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai at Dubai World Trade Centre on April 22-24, 2014.

The Group is geared towards bringing qualified and competent nationals into the organization, identifying high performaing nationals within the existing workforce and putting in place plans to provide growth opportunities for them.

The initiatives which include a dedicated online national’s recruitment portal, formal development and career plans for professional development, the Future Leader Program, focused induction and training plans to find creative and competent employees, are handled in close coordination with the business functions of the company. In addition, close relationships are maintained with key tertiary level institutions to identify nationals with relevant skills for internship opportunities geared towards future employment and also for the recruitment of fresh graduates.
