EMGS in $2 Mln Barents Data Agreement

Norway’s Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has secured two new data licensing deals for the provision of 3D EM data from EMGS’ multi-client data library in the Barents Sea.

In accordance with the company’s multi-client data library update, EMGS’s in Norway now covers 50,000 square kilometers of 3D full azimuth Multi-Client data in the Barents Sea.

According to the company’s Oslo stock exchange filing, both deals are worth USD 2 million in total.

The company did not disclose the client and when the data will be delivered.

EMGS will book the full amount as sales in the second quarter 2015.
