Evpatoria Port Agreement Signed (Ukraine)
JSC Lenmorniiproekt and State Unitary Enterprise RK KMP “Evpatoriysky Trade Port” signed the letter of intent (LOI) for reconstruction and restoration of the sea trade port of Evpatoria on the peninsula of Crimea, on September 1, 2014.
This agreement is the result of the first working meeting between representatives of design institute and the Evpatoriysky Trade Port. During negotiations participants gave an objective assessment to a condition of the Black Sea port complex.
“Together with the chief engineer of Evpatoriysky Port Evgeny Leonov, we analysed the general condition of port constructions, discussed prospects of development of the port and offered our image on reconstruction and modernization of this object of sea transport infrastructure. The contract for performance of design and exploration work will be signed until the end of 2014,” the director general of JSC Lenmorniiproekt Vladimir Merzlikin commented.
Performance of design and exploration work and ensuring passing of documentation of the main and ecological state examinations, will allow to carry out further complex reconstruction of Evpatoriysky Port that will lead to increase of goods turnover and will provide safe reception of passenger-and-freight vessels, and also vessels with general freights.
