Expro Opens Base in Newfoundland, Canada

Expro, a leading international oilfield services company, today announced the opening of their new operations base located in Paradise, Newfoundland, Canada, that will support the provision of well testing, subsea and downhole video services for offshore Newfoundland.

“We’ve been eagerly awaiting this office opening since we broke ground in April,” said Carl Cooper, frontier division manager. “We are now ready to begin delivering service excellence to the Newfoundland region from our new purpose-built facility.”

The new base, located in the new Octagon Industrial Park, accommodates a team of 30 people, the majority of whom are local employees. The base is four-bay workshop with 8,400 sq. ft. of warehouse area, an office annex with 6,000 ft. of office space on two levels, on a two-acre lot.

The service and product offerings the base will provide will be expanded as new opportunities present themselves in the on-going exploration and development of the offshore fields in the area.

In the Newfoundland region, Expro currently provides its customers with well testing services as well as subsea safety systems and downhole video services.

The ceremony of the base opening includes a ribbon-cutting ceremony, which will take place in March.
