Jinhai Heavy Industry Docks and Launches 5 Ships in October (China)

In the middle of October, Jinhai Heavy Industry speeded up the ship production and reasonably arranged the schedule of erection for every dock in the “Golden Period” of Production, and successfully accomplished docking and launching of 5 ships.

On Oct. 10 afternoons, the dock ceremony of 79,000 DWT BULK CARRIER J0047 and J0048 built by the fourth Shipbuilding Department were held in Dock 2, and 176,000 DWT BULK CARRIER of J0040 built by the second Shipbuilding Department in Dock 4.

On Oct. 18 morning, the launching ceremony of 176,000 DWT BULK CARRIER J0063 and J0064 built by the first Shipbuilding Department were held in Dock 5. They are docking at No.4 and No. 3 wharfs respectively, in the stage of outfitting.

Jinhai Heavy Industry Co., Ltd, originating from Jinhaiwan Shipyard Co., Ltd, is a large-scale shipbuilding company built in the light of modern enterprise system. It’s set up by Zhouji Group,and its share is held by Grand China Logistics Group under HNA Group when joining in HNA Group in July 2009. The company is regarded by Zhejiang provincial government as one of the key projects leading the adjustment of the provincial economic structure and developing the equipment manufacturing industry. It is also awarded as one of the key enterprises in provincial industry as well as one of the provincial high-tech enterprises. So far, the hand-hold orders rank top 20 and top 5 separately in international and domestic shipping industry.
