GTT, the French designer of containment systems with cryogenic membranes used to transport and store LNG, named Marc Haestier as the company’s new chief financial officer.

Haestier leaves Engie where he has held the position of CFO of the Infrastructures Business Line since 2010, GTT said in a statement on Monday.

He began his career holding various financial positions within Arjo Wiggins between 1985 and 1997, in Belgium and subsequently in the United Kingdom, before joining Alstom in Paris in 1997 as director of treasury and financing. He then moved to Gaz de France in 2004 as deputy CFO.

Philippe Berterottière, chairman and CEO of GTT, said that Haestier’s experience supports the company’s ambitions.
