Mexico set for Peru’s LNG cargo

Peru’s only LNG export facility in Pampa Melchorita has loaded and shipped another cargo to Mexico.

According to the data from the state-owned Perupetro, the 135,072 cbm Gallina LNG carrier departed from the facility on September 19.

The exact destination of the vessel has not been revealed, but it is probably on its way to the Manzanillo LNG terminal.

With the latest cargo, the LNG plant that has the capacity to produce 4.45 million tonnes of the chilled gas per year, has in total dispatched 284 vessels since it started operations in June 2010.
