NEVA LEADER 3 Sets Off on Sea Trials

On April 30th, 2013 the vessel ‘NEVA-LEADER 3’ set off on builder’s sea trials. The self-propelled dry-cargo vessel «NEVA-LEADER 3» (Yard Number 403) of 7150 dwt is being built at Nevsky Shipyard, LLC for North -Western Shipping Company, JSC.

The project RSD49 is developed by Marine Engineering Bureau-Design-SPb, JSC.

RSD49 project vessels are multipurpose dry-cargo vessels of “river-sea” type. The feature of RSD49 project vessels is the existence of a big middle hold in fifty two meters long, which makes it possible to transport “design” oversize and heavy-lift cargoes in one way voyage Europe-Caspian Sea. RSD49 project vessels refer to «Volgo-Don Max» class in accordance with the classification accepted by Marine Engineering Bureau.
