Polarcus Snares Seismic Project Offshore West Africa

Polarcus Limited has received a Letter of Intent for a 3D marine seismic acquisition project for an undisclosed client offshore West Africa.

The project, subject to the execution of a service contract, will commence in July 2014 and is expected to run for approximately three months.

Polarcus is a pure play marine geophysical company specializing in high-end towed streamer data acquisition from Pole to Pole.

The company has recently  completed acquisition of the Breagh multi-client project in the UK Southern North Sea.

The 840 sq. km RightBand (TM) project was acquired by Polarcus Naila, towing an 8 x 75 x 6,000m spread and utilizing Polarcus’ infill management solution.

The company is also currently engaged in the 3,000 sq. km high-density broadband Fedynsky 3D survey in the Russian Barents Sea.

Polarcus’ principal office is in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
