Solstad Gets Contract Extension for CSV Normand Cutter from Saipem

Saipem Ltd, a one of the best balanced turnkey contractors in the oil & gas industry, has declared their option to extend the contract with Solstad Offshore for the construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Cutter.

The contract extension is for 1 year from May 2013.

This is the first of a total of three yearly options for this deepwater subsea construction and umbilical lay DP vessel.

Normand Cutter has a flexible, redundant and powerful diesel-electric propulsion and machinery package, and a spacious hotel compliment of high standards and with capacity for 70 persons.
