Solstad said on Thursday that it had won a contract for the Normand Flower CSV and that it extended the present charter until April 2021.

According to the vessel owner, Fugro has options to extend the charter by a further six months.

It is worth noting that the Normand Flower was initially chartered by Fugro Netherlands Marine in March 2018 and has been with the company since then.

At the time, Fugro chartered the vessel for operations in North European waters for a period of six months firm.

Solstad added that the vessel would be utilized for geotechnical operations within the renewable energy and oil and gas sectors.

The Normand Flower is a construction support vessel of a UT 737 design. It was built in 2002 by Søviknes Yard.
