UPS to Purchase 700 LNG Vehicles (USA)

UPS today announced the accelerated growth of its alternative vehicle fleet with plans to purchase approximately 700 liquefied natural gas (LNG) vehicles and to build four refueling stations by the end of 2014. Once completed, the LNG private fleet will be one of the most extensive in the U.S.

Cove Point LNG Contract Goes to GE (USA)

GE Oil & Gas has received contracts to supply gas compression trains for Dominion’s Cove Point Liquefaction Project in Lusby, Md. Adding liquefaction capabilities will transform the existing Cove Point liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal into the first LNG terminal capable of exporting LNG on the U.S. East Coast.
