Blueprint Marine Creates Dive Superyacht

This new service has been created as an effortless way for captains and management companies to ensure that their boats are delivering the safest and highest quality certified diving for their guests.

DIVE Superyacht provide all the relevant training, advice, operational guidelines and audit processes for yachts to become a PADI Superyacht Centre, without the need to become a fully operational dive boat. This allows captains and key personnel to effectively manage onboard diving operations without the need to employ or become diving experts.

Once recognised as a PADI Superyacht Centre, yachts can offer diving to their guests in the knowledge that they are following the highest standards of safety and quality. Vessels then have the ability to issue PADI certification from the boat itself and all of this can be done without the need to employ a permanent diving instructor onboard. Visiting PADI Instructors supplied by DIVE Superyacht will be trained in the new PADI Specialty “PADI Superyacht Diver” created by DIVE Superyacht Director of Training Emily Petley-Jones, which will ensure that they are familiar with superyacht operations and the required soft skills such as etiquette, confidentiality and security.

With PADI as a training partner, boats get the full support of the world’s strongest dive training organization and the PADI International team offers tremendous tools and support to help boats succeed with their guest and operational needs.

Dive Superyacht members services include recreational scuba diving or snorkeling instruction, Discover Scuba Diving experiences, guided recreational scuba dives and snorkeling excursions as well as assistance with equipment servicing, replacement and lease.

Emily Petley-Jones, also a PADI Course Director comments: “We specialize in the provision of PADI Dive Masters and Instructors for boats who do not have qualified divers on board. Our unique and complete service to yachts sets them up as a PADI Dive Centre without the necessity of having to employ a qualified person on board or having to send crews off for long training courses ashore

DIVE Superyacht also recognize that some superyachts like to up skill their own crew to keep costs down and everything in house. For this reason they also offer diver training up to Instructor level for superyachts either on board or at their partner centres depending on the level of training required and time available.

Working with DIVE Superyacht has given us the opportunity to supply our vessels, clients and guests with the best diving systems available” – Simon Dawson, General Manager International Yacht Register.

DIVE Superyacht launching this new service with an introductory discount of 10% for yachts that sign up before August 2014.
