Eastern Pacific Orders LPG Carriers

South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) has won a new contract for the construction of two LPG carriers.

The contract comes from Singapore-based Eastern Pacific Shipping and includes firm order for two LPG newbuilds with an option for two more.

According to the shipbuilder, the contract is worth approx $102.1 million.

Delivery of these 38,000-cmb vessels is slated for 2016 and 2017.
