Qingshan Shipyard launches bulker for FESCO

China’s Qingshan Shipyard launched the second in a series of bulk carriers being built for Russia’s FESCO Group on April 23. The ship was named FESCO ‘Simferopol’.
‘FESCO Simferopol’ measures in at 189.99 metres long, 32.26 metres wide, 18 metres deep and 12.8 metres in draught. With a deadweight of 57,000 tonnes, the ship’s five cargo holds total 71,500 cubic metres. The series’ vessels are equipped with four cranes with a lifting capacity of 30 tonnes each.
