Bold Maverick Completes Diving Support Work in Sisi Nubi Field Off Indonesia

SBSS DPII vessel Bold Maverick successfully completed a diving support work for an E&P project of Total in Sisi Nubi field, Balikpapan, Indonesia in Nov/Dec 2011.

In this work, Bold Maverick was chartered by Hallin Marine to support saturation diving operation for offshore platform debris removal. This is Bold Maverick’s first DSV work since her join to SBSS fleet.

Sisi-Nubi is a major gas field located in East Kalimantan, Indonesia, 20 km from the Mahakam Delta. Sisi-Nubi field consists of several 20 to 60 m thick gas accumulations controlled by normal faults.

SBSS Bold Maverick was built by Volkswerft Stralsund Shipyard in Germany in 2001 as a Multi Service Subsea Construction vessel. Fitted with an advanced Konsberg DP2 system, she has been design for excellent station keeping and maneuverability. Her extensive free deck space and storage capability enable her to perform a wide range of subsea construction.

The vessel, backed by SBSS marine operations team, has an extensive track record of operating as a DSV construction vessel and installing Subsea Umbilical Flowline (SURF) in the Oil & Gas industry.
