Ex-Schlumberger man joins Tetra as Senior VP

US-based oil and gas services company Tetra Technologies has appointed Matthew J. Sanderson as the company’s Senior Vice President.

Tetra said on Thursday that Sanderson would report to Joseph Elkhoury, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the company.

The new Tetra Senior VP previously worked as the Regional Vice President for U.S. West at Schlumberger. Sanderson started his career at one of the world’s largest oilfield services providers, Schlumberger, in 1997 and held various managerial roles, including Vice President of Production Services.

He earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, and a Master’s of Science in Oil & Gas Industry Management from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Tetra Technologies focuses on completion fluids, water management, frac flow back, offshore rig cooling, offshore well plugging and abandonment, and decommissioning.
