Ocean Installer Marks 2000 Vessel Days

Norway’s subsea company, Ocean Installer has completed 2000 vessel days. The company reached the goal with 0 LTI (Lost Time Injury).

Only a year after reaching 1000 vessel days, Ocean Installer reached 2000 executed vessel days in the beginning of January, including Ocean Installer operated and subcontracted vessels.

Ocean Installer’s vessel fleet, including the advanced construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Vision, has seen a high utilisation rate since the commencing of the charters till today.

Normand Mermaid saw 97% utilisation in 2014 while Normand Vision has had almost 100 % utilisation since the commencing of the charter in the summer of 2014.

It is especially satisfying to see that Normand Vision has been welcomed by the market in several regions. We have also managed high technical uptime on our fleet through strong management capabilities.”

Ocean Installer has executed offshore operations on the NCS, UKCS, GoM and Brazil. The company has at present three CSV’s operational on long-term charters: Normand Vision, Normand Clipper and Normand Mermaid.
