Polar Duke Seismic Vessel Days from Departure to West Africa

Dolphin Geophysical has signed one out of potential three 3D contracts in Africa, as previously disclosed as upcoming work for Polar Duke. If all contracts materialize in line with management expectation, the vessel will be occupied in Africa from December until April 2012.

Following a successful and very long season with high seismic demand in the Norwegian Barents Sea, Polar Duke ended contract operations in early November, then carried out various guarantee and yard work in Aberdeen. While waiting for permitting in West Africa, the vessel is performing seismic acquisition and gear testing near the UK Blakeney area, prior to departure at the end of this week.
