Pyeongtaek LNG terminal to receive Qatari cargo

South Korea is scheduled to get a liquefied natural gas cargo from Qatar on December 3, according to shipping data.

The cargo is being carried by the 135,256 cbm K.Freesia, and it is sailing to the Pyeongtaek LNG terminal.

Kogas-operated Pyeongtaek LNG terminal is South Korea’s first LNG import terminal. It has started commercial operations in 1986.
