For the Buckskin South Expansion project, Subsea7 will deliver the transportation and installation of a subsea umbilical and a rigid flowline in water depths of up to 2,100 meters.

Project management and engineering activities will begin immediately from the company’s office in Houston, with offshore operations scheduled for 2026 and 2027.

Subsea7 said that the contract was sizeable, meaning it is worth between $50 million and $150 million.

Craig Broussard, Senior Vice President for Subsea7 Gulf of Mexico, said: “We are proud to continue working alongside LLOG to deliver greater value from their US developments, building on successes such as the innovative Salamanca project, which recently achieved first oil.”

Subsea7 recently secured a subsea engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract with ConocoPhillips Skandinavia for the Previously Produced Fields (PPF) development project offshore Norway, followed by an extension of the existing frame agreement with Equinor, covering subsea inspection, maintenance and repair services (IMR) delivered by a 2013-built subsea vessel.
