Seabird said on Wednesday that the letter of intent to acquire 2D seismic data was awarded by an unnamed international oil and gas company.

According to the company, the survey is expected to take approximately six weeks and will be conducted by the Harrier Explorer vessel in the first quarter of 2019.

To remind, the Harrier Explorer began work on a multi-client 2D survey with a duration of approximately two weeks in northwest Europe.

The multi-client survey currently underway was pre-funded and approximately cash neutral.

In related news, SeaBird earlier this week took delivery of the Geowave Voyager seismic vessel and renamed it Eagle Explore.
