DOF Subsea bags long-term deal for construction vessel

DOF Subsea, a Norwegian specialist subsea service business, has been awarded a long-term time charter contract for one of its larger construction vessels.

The subsea company said on Friday, June 1 that the new contract will start as the current contract expires in August 2019.

The new contract expires in April 2022, DOF Subsea added.

The company has not revealed any details about the value of the contract nor the client.

In related news, DOF Subsea was in May awarded a five-year a inspection, maintenance, and repair frame agreement by Equinor. Earlier that month, the company also received a contract extension for one of its subsea vessels in the West Africa region.
