DOF revealed on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, that it had entered into an agreement to sell the 2004-built, medium-size PSV Skandi Captain to an undisclosed international buyer.

The vessel is expected to be delivered in 1Q 2024. The Norwegian player highlights that the sale will have “a positive accounting effect.”

With a LOA of 74.3 meters, the PSV Skandi Captain is of an MT 6009-FSV design and can accommodate 21 people.

This vessel sale comes a month after DOF won a contract with Subsea7 and inked an agreement with Maersk Supply Service for two construction vessels.

The Norwegian vessel owner also got its hands on three new service contracts with Petrobras, which are worth over $260 million.

The firm secured a vessel extension in September 2023 along with a new long-term contract for one of its anchor handling tug and supply (AHTS) vessels with Equinor earlier this year.

In addition, DOF got multiple new jobs in the Atlantic region and obtained a contract extension in Brazil, along with new deals in West Africa and the North Sea.
