VIDEO: Gisela Oldendorff Discharges in Finland

The video above shows Gisela Oldendorff, a Kamsarmax bulk carrier owned by Germany’s shipping company Oldendorff Carriers, discharging coal at Offshore Raahe, Finland. 

The Gisela Oldendorff features a length of 229 meters and a width of 32,3 meters.

The vessel has a deadweight of 81,400 tons on 14.4 meters and a deadweight of 65,400 tons on 12.2 meters.

The ship belongs to a series of six G-Class Eco-Kamsarmaxes built for the company between 2014 and 2016 at Jingling Shipyard in China.

Oldendorff Carriers operates a fleet of over 500 bulk carriers, including 130 Capesize vessels, 120 Panamaxes/Post-Panamaxes, 120 Ultramaxes/Supramaxes, 80 Handysize ships, 40 Transshipment vessels and 10 Self-unloaders.

The company also has a newbuilding program comprised of 50 vessels which were ordered in China, Japan and Korea and scheduled for delivery from 2014 onwards.
