Forland Shipping Gets New Chief Executive Officer

Forland Shipping, a privately owned shipping company, has appointed Tore Larsen as the new CEO, with effect from April 01, 2014.

Tore Larsen is appointed as the new CEO in the companies in the Forland Group

Tore Larsen comes from a position as Group Fleet Support Manager at Subsea 7 in Grimstad, Norway. Larsen has extensive operational experience from different positions within the offshore industry, and he received his education as a Master Mariner from Fredrikstad Maritime School in Norway.

The former CEO and owner of Frode Bjørn AS, Frode Bjørn Forland, continues as Chairman of the Board in the companies.
